I am trying out my MP5-SD clone (TPM build gun with TPM suppressor) and I want to make sure that I do not get a baffle strike since I am fairly new to suppressors. I inspected the gun and suppressor and everything looks fine, but is there anything else I need to do to make sure I don't do something dumb, as in something a newbie would not think of?
There's porting on MP5SD barrels that are meant to bleed off gasses reducing supersonic speed ammo to subsonic. The suppressor has an initial chamber that collects the bleeded off gases, then the bullet passes through a series of baffles like you would find in your Octane. I got an Omega, and my faux suppressor I got from TitleIIArms.

I usually shoot with a glove close by or on one hand so I can make sure the can is on tight while it’s slap yo mama hot. Don't have an alignment rod but used a cleaning rod and it looks concentric with the bore. When installed in the gun the suppressor has no wobble and is properly threaded to the barrel.
